Dr Lori-Lee Hermetz

Dr. Lori-Lee Hermetz is an independent General Practitioner with a Diploma in Mental Health (DMH(SA), Cum Laude) and a growing interest in Aesthetic Medicine. With a passion for holistic, patient-centred care, she combines clinical excellence with a warm, empathetic approach that supports her patients’ mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

Dr. Hermetz earned her MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed her medical internship at King Edward VIII Hospital, followed by her community service year at Potchefstroom Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in psychiatry and emergency medicine. She has worked across multiple disciplines, managing both inpatients and outpatients, supervising junior teams, and initiating systems for improved ward management.

Currently, she practices as a General Practitioner in a corporate health setting located in Sandton and a mental health and aesthetic private practice in Benoni. Her work focuses on mental health, chronic disease management, and aesthetic medicine, blending evidence-based treatment with lifestyle strategies to treat the whole person — not just symptoms.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hermetz is a certified yoga teacher as well as a diagnostic consultant for Elevate Education, where she supports students with effective study techniques. She is a proactive team leader, communicator and is committed to life-long learning. She aims to make meaningful contributions to mental health care and community wellness.
